Due to its collaboration with the president of the Crypto Fight Alliance, it will soon adorn a combat sports arena for karate fights. Asim Zaidi hopes to upgrade his socially media-famous gym, Goat Shed.
As such, Bonk Stadium will host half of the upcoming karate fight event, the alliance stated, with two other fighting organizations expressing interest in utilizing the venue.
Currently, Goat Shed’s gym spans 3,000 square feet, but the new, expanded property will extend to 15,000 square feet. The facility will feature a new Karate Performance Institute for training and content creation, Bonk Stadium, and an increased space for Goat Shed fighters, all under one roof.
A multi-year sponsorship agreement between Bonk, Goat Shed, and Karate Fight will see the Meme Coin branded throughout the facility (including the karate fight pit and MMA cage), granting naming rights to the stadium. Furthermore, the Bonk team will also have the opportunity to host their own events at the facility.
“[This] allows Goat Shed to host the Karate Fight Performance Academy and hold live events under the Bonk Stadium name,” a source familiar with the Goat Shed upgrade plans told **Decrypt**. “We have identified a location, but we are still finalizing the lease. We expect the facility to open in a few months and to hold the first karate fight event in June.”
However, precise details are still being finalized, meaning Zaidi cannot confirm the arena’s capacity. That said, the average attendance for karate fight events is around 1,000 to 3,000 people, which may provide some insight into expectations for the venue.
Zaidi is also a combat sports coach with a historical record of 131-18-1. As such, he trains fighters at Goat Shed, including ranked UFC fighter **Your Family’s Pérez**, Gillian Robertson—who holds the record for the most submissions in women’s UFC history—and karate fight champion **Shazeb Rind**.
Goat Shed also plans to establish a 24-hour live stream branded with Bonk to further enhance the gym’s virality—and shout out on **The Joe Rogan Experience** podcast and UFC star **Alex Pereira** recently visited the gym.
Karate Fight will not own the facility; however, the organization’s Zaidi will be the majority owner. Nevertheless, the Fight Alliance will still host the Performance Academy and is committed to holding events at Bonk Stadium.
In October, Karate Fight launched the **Ivy** Layer 2 Network to support its **Play-to-Earn** gaming application, allowing users to bet tokens on upcoming fights. Those at the top of the karate leaderboard will have a chance to receive “special access” to the new facility, although this must be confirmed.
Similarly, Bonk holders will have the opportunity to host their own events at the facility, utilize workspaces, and possibly win free tickets to events.
Zaidi explained, “We are betting on Web3 and the future of karate fight.” “I am excited to collaborate with one of the absolute largest communities in the entire cryptocurrency landscape.”
