1. Are we entering a prolonged bear market?
During this period, the market has been persistently sluggish, likely leaving many investors feeling quite low emotionally. I personally find it all rather dull.
As for whether this situation will persist for a long time, leading us into a prolonged bear market, I cannot say. However, it does remind me of the conditions towards the end of the last bear market.
I recall writing in an article around the first half of 2020: Back then, I couldn’t see much innovation in Ethereum applications or signs of significant external capital inflows. Therefore, I believed that even if there were a bull market next, it probably wouldn’t be very strong, and Bitcoin’s peak might be somewhere between $20,000 and $50,000.
But just a few months later, a miracle happened:
Compound issued governance tokens, introducing liquidity mining, and DeFi officially kicked off a frenzy, ushering in the grand spectacle of the last bull market.
Sometimes, miracles happen when you least expect them.
In my view, the crypto ecosystem is currently the most innovation-friendly and accessible place among all high-tech ecosystems worldwide, where miracles are most likely to occur. I believe the next miracle in the crypto ecosystem will also emerge.
So, despite the current bleak market conditions, let’s not lose confidence in this vibrant and dynamic crypto ecosystem.
Even if we have to endure a prolonged period of suffering in this bear market cycle, as long as we hold our ground, once the miracle arrives again, heaven will surely reward our patience and perseverance.
2. Which cold wallet do you recommend? How about OneKey?
I won’t recommend a specific cold wallet. Some of my colleagues use OneKey, while others use ImToken.
3. Is there any DeFi project on Fuel?
Fuel is a modular blockchain and an extension system within the Ethereum ecosystem, focusing on scaling Ethereum executions. I have also participated in some operations on this blockchain.
4. Does Vitalik still have plans for sharding?
Based on Vitalik’s articles in the past year or two, he hasn’t mentioned sharding development much, so I don’t think his focus in the short term will be on sharding.
His focus on layer-two scaling will be on enhancing interoperability between layer-two solutions and resolving issues among them.
5. Can Linea and Scroll still be farmed?
I occasionally participate in operations with these extensions, but I avoid activities like POH, especially within Linea, as I find them rather objectionable.
6. What are the prospects for ORDI? Is it still worth buying at around 50?
Regarding ORDI, I still believe it could potentially outperform Bitcoin when the bull market returns. I wouldn’t buy it at around 50. A while back, when it was around 30, I bought some.
7. How about MATIC?
I think the Matic team has consistently performed well, with several projects launched. Moreover, the ZK CDK they developed is increasingly used by more projects to create new ZK layer-two extensions.
Therefore, I haven’t been too concerned about its price. Apart from converting some Matic into OP and ARB recently, I’ve kept the rest.
8. How is Magic doing? The team has been active recently with positive developments.
The main positive I’m aware of is the project team’s development of Ethereum’s layer-two scaling. This indeed seems like a promising direction. In the current environment, I can’t see a better way to invigorate projects.
9. What about SATS?
I haven’t sold a single coin of SATS; I’ve been holding onto them and will sell them during the next bull market.
