CoinDesk reports:
Blockchain platform Flare, focusing on data decentralization, integrates with cross-chain messaging platform LayerZero, extending decentralized data access across 75 blockchains including Ethereum and Solana.
Users can now access data available on 50,000 dApps hosted within various ecosystems via Flare.
Hugo Philion, CEO of Flare Network, commented, “This integration is highly valuable for all users and developers on Flare. Deploying LayerZero V2 will accelerate Flare’s expansion, paving the way for developers to build a variety of innovative, interoperable products. The opportunity for Flare to serve as a highly secure DVN on LayerZeroV2 is particularly compelling.”
Despite a total value locked (TVL) of just $9 million on DeFi Llama, Flare has seen a significant increase in usage since September 2023, with TVL hovering around $40,000.
Flare’s FLR token dropped 12% last week, with a market cap of $930 million.
