Zero-Knowledge EVM blockchain Cronos zkEVM has announced the launch of its Pioneer Program. The program allows early users to earn points through activities on Cronos zkEVM and interactions with specific dapps.
The Pioneer Program aims to incentivize the Cronos community and reward early supporters who actively participate in the testnet and mainnet. It is being launched ahead of the scheduled release of the Cronos zkEVM mainnet in the third quarter.
The project will unfold in phases over the next few weeks, including various community and social tasks. These provide users with an opportunity to earn loyalty points while familiarizing themselves with the features and services offered on Cronos zkEVM.
Later on, users will be able to claim points when using ecosystem dapps, as participating dapps are expected to provide additional token rewards and other benefits to loyalty point holders. These additional rewards will be available not only in CRO tokens but also in native dapp tokens.
As a result, users will be able to earn three levels of income on their crypto assets, such as CRO: firstly, through staking rewards provided by native liquidity assets like zkCRO; secondly, through DeFi income generated by various protocols in the ecosystem; and thirdly, through additional rewards provided by participating dapps to loyalty point holders.

The Pioneer Program acknowledges their valuable efforts in helping to refine the testnet and provide feedback in the weeks leading up to and after the mainnet launch.”
To kickstart the Pioneer Program, the Cronos project will collaborate with Veno Finance to launch the Cronos zkEVM Passage event. In this event, which started on July 4, users can accumulate points by locking and staking CRO in the Ethereum mainnet or Cronos EVM blockchain through the bridging contract supported by Veno. This event will continue until the mainnet launch. Details about the accumulated crypto assets, staking yields, and Pioneer points will be released during the mainnet launch.
