Shiba Inu Leaders Meet Japanese Politicians at IVS 2024

Yayoi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, met with a Japanese politician and former member of the Kesennuma City Council at the IVS Crypto Conference held in Japan.
Yayoi Kusama continued to make headlines during her attendance at the conference scheduled for July 6. Notably, last month, Shiba Inu became the gold sponsor of the IVS Crypto 2024 event, marking the latest in a series of sponsorship deals the project has secured in recent years.

Interestingly, Yayoi Kusama expressed her intention to attend the event in person. This would mark the first time the enigmatic Shiba Inu figurehead has made a personal appearance at an event. Yayoi Kusama fulfilled her promise by attending today’s event.
Nevertheless, videos and images from the event showed Yayoi Kusama covering her face with a mask. This development dashed the hopes of community members eager to unveil the chief developer’s visage. Intriguingly, some photos from Japanese SHIB enthusiast Riri revealed an interesting detail.
It is noteworthy that Shiba Inu marketer Lucie shared a photo in which Shytoshi is seen bowing to another person, a customary greeting in Japanese culture. The community later discovered that the other, then-unknown individual was a prominent Japanese politician.
