Recently, as part of the “2024 World Artificial Intelligence Conference · Invest Shanghai” series, the only enterprise park-entry event took place at the Shibei High-tech Park, with over 20 artificial intelligence enterprises from various parts of China in attendance.
Today, Shibei High-tech Park, known for its concentration of headquarters and technological advancement, is actively engaged in the construction of “Digital Communication Chain Valley – Shanghai Blockchain Development Pilot Zone,” seizing opportunities for digital era transformation and reinforcing its role as a core node supporting Shanghai’s “Central Loop Digital Industry Innovation Belt.” Sun Zhongfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shibei High-tech Group, extended a sincere invitation to entrepreneurs present, welcoming them to share development opportunities and create a brighter future together.
Zhang Wei, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Investment Promotion Service Center, stated that Shibei High-tech Park, as a distinctive industrial park of Shanghai, a gathering area for private enterprise headquarters, a digital transformation demonstration zone, and a core area for the national blockchain innovation application comprehensive pilot, has formed a cluster of characteristic industries including “cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, and blockchain.” It has established a diversified carrier with excellent facilities and abundant supporting industry development space, possessing unlimited development potential.
During discussions and visits, leaders of Shibei High-tech Group introduced two major projects under development: Digital Communication Chain Valley and Jing’an International Sci-Tech Innovation Community.


Digital Communication Chain Valley is Shanghai’s first industrial cluster area themed around blockchain, serving as the core carrier area for Jing’an’s ongoing construction of the “National Blockchain Innovation Application Comprehensive Pilot Area.” Located at Lane 288, Kangning Road, it spans 70,000 square meters of office space constructed along the river, complemented by 120,000 square meters of ecological landscape including public green spaces and Jing’an Sports Park. Future expansions are expected to increase office space to 100,000 square meters, positioning it as a new hub for blockchain industry in Shanghai and beyond. In recent years, Shibei High-tech Park has focused extensively on the blockchain industry, with over 80 blockchain enterprises already gathered in the Digital Communication Chain Valley.


Jing’an International Sci-Tech Innovation Community, adjacent to the Gonghe New Road Overpass and intersecting with the Central Loop, is set to become Shibei High-tech Park’s first billion-level and hundred-meter-high industrial landmark over the next three years. It will provide 300,000 square meters of office buildings, combining “Grade A offices, new R&D facilities, talent apartments, high-quality education, premium commercial outlets, star-rated hotels, cultural performances, and popular tourist attractions” into a “24/7” industrial community.
During exchanges, participating enterprise executives expressed admiration for Jing’an District’s beautiful urban environment, robust commercial development, and vibrant innovation atmosphere. Through this event, they deeply experienced the charm and allure of “Smart Shibei, Innovative Treasure Land,” eagerly anticipating new business opportunities and fruitful outcomes in Jing’an and Shibei.
