Report Vice President Kamala Harris Aims to Promote Cryptocurrency and Artificial Intelligence as Part of the Opportunity Economy Agenda

According to reports, Kamala Harris, the Vice President of the United States and Democratic presidential candidate, has pledged to support the cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence (AI) industries if she wins the upcoming November election.

Harris vowed to help increase investment in artificial intelligence and digital asset technology during a fundraising event in New York City on Sunday.
“I will bring together labor, small business founders and innovators, and big companies. We will work together to invest in America’s competitiveness and America’s future. We will encourage innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence and digital assets while protecting our consumers and investors.”
During the event, Harris promoted what she called her “opportunity economy” agenda to donors.
“We will create a secure business environment with consistent and transparent rules of the road. We will invest in semiconductors, clean energy, and other industries of the future, and reduce unnecessary bureaucracy.”
Last month, Jeremy Allaire, the CEO of stablecoin issuer Circle, stated that the US digital asset industry hopes for a clearer stance from Harris on cryptocurrency issues.
“I think the industry very clearly wants a clear statement from the current White House, and a clear statement from Harris as part of her economic policy agenda.”
