The Coin World reported:
When it comes to speculation, I have been involved in various projects outside of Atomicals, changing tracks every day, always adhering to the principle of “speculating on new, not old.”
In the past few years, many “big things” ultimately ended in failure. The lessons of being a diamond hand have been learned long ago.
But this time, I still chose to be bullish.
The first reason is that the cryptocurrency market is still in its early stages, which makes me choose to hold for the long term.
First of all, the bull market has not really arrived yet. My definition of a bull market is when people start to feel that the overall environment is conducive to BTC entering a “perpetual bull market,” that’s when it can be considered a phase high.
But right now? It’s still early. The real bull market may not come until 2025, and I can accept that.
One thing that is certain now: this moment is definitely not the end.
The second reason is the durability and certainty of the “Bitcoin ecosystem” narrative.
I have argued countless times why these five words will explode in the future, and why Atomicals is an indispensable part of the Bitcoin ecosystem. These reasons have given me a strong rationale that transcends different price periods. Just as I had reasons to hold Quark 150U initially, I had reasons to buy Quark 30U later.
Thirdly, the Atomicals protocol is truly awesome.
I won’t talk much about CX’s words today. It has been demonstrated countless times and is not the focus of today’s article. Interested individuals can spend some time reviewing my historical tweets.
The above are just from an investment perspective, and the third reason why I am willing to “go deep.”
On the other hand, why am I willing to personally build? This is what sets it apart from other sectors. In the following, I will discuss my thoughts from the perspective of “building.”
(This article does not provide much introduction to Atomicals and mainly focuses on the subjective mentality of the Builder)
————
For me, Atomicals is really different. When I first entered the cryptocurrency world, I never thought that one day I would immerse myself in being a Builder of an investment product, writing articles, building websites, and promoting community development.
I believe that some of my views are shared between different ecosystems and communities, and I hope that everyone who sees themselves as a Builder can resonate.
First, today’s Atomicals ecosystem is so similar to the early days of “big business.”
An ownerless ecosystem, a top-notch narrative, and inevitable reasons independent of price. A group of determined idealistic believers, a group of dedicated long-term builders. The determination of a group of people in the Atomicals community is truly “unbreakable.”
In the history of blockchain development, the people who have achieved the greatest achievements are often the most determined idealists.
Looking at token prices, atom is only one-seventh of its peak, quark is only one-fourth of its peak, and most other tokens are far from their highs. But independent of price, the core narrative of Atomicals has not changed (it has not changed due to price declines), the reasons for the persistence of the ecosystem builders have not changed, and the encouragement for the community to continue building remains as it was when we first expected it – Bitcoin needs Atomicals, and Atomicals will inevitably have a place in the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Whenever someone in the community wavers due to price fluctuations, I always ask: What were the reasons you held onto quark/atom at the time? Have these reasons fundamentally changed?
Interestingly, although our community is often lively, most people are not choosing to invest because of the strength of the community, but because they genuinely feel that the Atomicals protocol “has something.”
Yes, Atomicals indeed has a lot of “something,” and it only gets better, without regression or pause. This consistency persists through different phases of enthusiasm and price levels.
Prices fluctuate cyclically, but the development of the ecosystem is positive. From this perspective, the phenomena reflected by cyclical fluctuations will likely be: oscillating history and intermittent leaps.
I often think of today’s Atomicals as the early days of Bitcoin or early blockchain. Considering the frequent influx of capital in the current environment, this process will be greatly accelerated. A big business may be late in coming, but a big business will eventually come to fruition. How long will it take for Atomicals to achieve greatness? We will wait and see.
Secondly, I always believe that people make things happen.
I have detailed this point in other articles before.
In Web3, things are made to happen, especially by people. This is a place for the common people, where there is no absolute fairness, but it is a high-dimensional attempt at relative fairness in society.
Here, everyone is important, every little thing can become a historical turning point in the fast-paced world of Web3, and every effort will be magnified many times over.
Especially in the case of community-led tokens, imagine, for any community coin you have played with, if you remove the core Builders, the so-called “narrative” of the coin’s rise doesn’t sound as convincing, does it? The rise of a coin often comes from a so-called narrative or culture, but regardless of which, someone has to tell the story for it to become a system.
This is especially evident in small-cap coins. When a coin has no project team, the power of a small number of Builders becomes crucial; to a certain extent, this small group of Builders represents the so-called “project team” of the coin.
Since Atomicals is already the best ecosystem in my understanding, choosing to do something in this ecosystem is also following the path of ideals. With a narrative and technical foundation, from a community perspective, I strive to make this “elegance” known to the world.
I often think, if Bitcoin had been born a few years earlier, without the first group of core evangelists, would its future really be so certain? Would it be where it is today? It’s hard to say.
When I deeply understand the importance of “building,” my first reason for choosing to stay is not completely about actively wanting to build, but more about seeing many people whom I respect, support, and like, burying themselves in building here. Working with a group of outstanding Builders makes the pursuit of the ideal path even more attractive.
“Success does not necessarily have to include me, but if it does, I will be there.”
Thirdly, the community and the ecosystem always work in both directions.
If Atomicals succeeds, the return for us Builders will naturally be substantial.
A great ecosystem will always create a group of early participants.
Today, every holder and evangelist of ARC-20 is not only a future material beneficiary, but also a colorful figure in the history of Atomicals.
Regardless of whether Atomicals succeeds or when it succeeds, the journey of building Atomicals has brought me great gains and growth. When I first started, my profile was blank, from simply making calls as CX, to promoting and evangelizing the entire ecosystem, and now I have gained some influence. At the same time, I have tried to create graphics, build robots, set up websites, open Spaces, and organize events… Regardless of the investment results, this journey has made me a better version of myself, and I believe every community builder can relate to this.
As we look forward to Atomicals improving, Atomicals may also be helping each and every one of us to grow and progress. Even as an ordinary Holder, the investment process is a genuine learning experience of the changes and developments in the Bitcoin ecosystem. Step by step, we are building an ecosystem, and this ecosystem is also unconsciously shaping us. Trying to progress, to learn, to input and output, is a place where effort leads to reward.
As the old saying goes: we are all witnesses to history. Our identity today may be envied by future players in the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Imagine if you were an early participant in Bitcoin, what would you want to do 15 years ago, in addition to investing? We are writing history, and along with it, we will also become history.
The above are my three original thoughts on “building.”
I believe that many Builders in the ecosystem today share many commonalities. This spirit of building can only emerge when we are in the Atomicals ecosystem – often it may not be the subjective choice of these evangelists or developers, but Atomicals is attracting us, its flexibility, authenticity, and purity, ultimately leading us to believe in the native ecosystem of Bitcoin, and that it will create history for Bitcoin and be shaped by Bitcoin.
My life should have two main items on the To-Do list, one is to pursue wealth, and the other is to pursue ideals. When I chose Atomicals, I almost completed the list.
But for the public, especially for the many people who do not understand or have not participated in the Atomicals ecosystem, what should really be shared is:
Why do I see Atomicals as a “big business”?
Why do I think that contributing to Atomicals will be doubly rewarding?
And why do I only choose to work for Atomicals?
These topics can be discussed for days (in fact, they have been discussed intermittently for several months). Let’s not rush it, wait for me to say more in the future, and hopefully one day these scattered thoughts can be compiled into a book (I hope I can persist until that day).
If you have read most of my historical articles, you will find that many articles are attempting new perspectives and expressions – even though I have always focused on Atomicals. That’s because there is so much to talk about with Atomicals. Even now, my drafts still contain at least 10 different topics, waiting for the day when I have the energy to write them all.
What kind of protocol can make me want to think, talk about it, and still have more to say after finishing? That’s the charm of Atomicals.
Keep thinking, keep believing, and keep building.
Finally, here’s a saying that I have recently liked very much –
“Welcome to Bitcoin 2.0”
