Huddle01 Announces Node Sale for Decentralized Real-Time Communication (dRTC) Network
Bangalore, India – October 24, 2024 – Huddle01, a leader in decentralized real-time communication (dRTC), has announced its node sale whitelist. Huddle01 is the first decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) for RTC or audio and video conferencing. By coordinating unused internet bandwidth through its innovative decentralized network, Huddle01 enables seamless audio and video communication.
Since its inception, Huddle01 has hosted over 7 million minutes of meetings in more than 100,000 events. Adding nodes to the network will increase connectivity to key new markets and allow node license buyers to own and operate a part of the Huddle01 dRTC network and receive rewards.
Logic behind DePIN: Nodes Improve Latency
Huddle01 media nodes, the atomic units of the Huddle01 dRTC network, provide the necessary bandwidth to encode, decode, and route audio/video packets for uninterrupted global audio and video communication.
Unlike most DePINs, Huddle01 is demand-side driven, addressing the high operational costs and geographical latency faced by centralized RTC networks, solving real consumer problems.
By reducing reliance on centralized data centers, Huddle01 also lowers audio and video calling server costs for developers by 95% compared to AWS, ensuring cost-effective high-performance communication.
“Our media nodes extend a network that surpasses existing web2 competitors in terms of latency. We have already achieved this in areas with a large number of nodes, including New York City,” said Ayush Ranjan, CEO of Huddle01.
Huddle01’s native application, Huddle01-Meet, integrates web3 native tools, allowing users to connect wallets, use NFT profile pictures as avatars, and host token-gated meetings. Video recordings can be securely stored on the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS), highlighting the platform’s commitment to decentralization and security.
Led by CEO and Co-Founder Ayush Ranjan and Co-Founder and CTO Susmit Lavania, Huddle01 has an experienced team with over 15 years of experience in the RTC field and over 5 years of experience in token engineering. Key leadership positions at Huddle01 are held by alumni from BlockScience, Consensys, Polygon, Cardano, Persistence, CoinDCX, and Guardian Link.
Node Sale Details
The node sale will offer 46,900 Huddle media nodes in two stages, starting at $320 per node.
Node Sale Dynamics
A total of 46,900 Huddle01 media nodes are available, starting at $320. Out of these, 20,000 media nodes will be sold in the first stage.
The minimum requirement to run a node is approximately 250 Mbps internet connection, but buyers can also delegate to minimize operational costs.
Sale participants will receive an NFT key upon purchase, which can be used to run or delegate nodes.
The node sale will take place in two stages:
Stage 1: 20,000 nodes will be sold through whitelist and public sales in November.
Participants in the first stage will be eligible for higher returns compared to the second stage, with lower prices for early-level considerations for second-stage participants.
Whitelist Window: October 24 – November 4
Whitelist Sale Begins: November 6 – Exclusive whitelist allocation for our partners and community members
Public Sale: November 8 – Open to everyone
Huddle01 Media Node Rewards
Huddle01’s incentive testnet will launch two weeks after the completion of the sale.
This program will run for 6 months, with active node key holders receiving $5 HUDL per day as rewards, totaling 21% of the total Huddle01 TGE supply.
During the testnet phase, 40 million HUDL will be rewarded to active nodes, with 5% unlocked at TGE.
Total TGE Supply – 200 million HUDL
How to Join the Huddle01 Whitelist?
To participate in the sale, users must log in and connect their wallet to check their eligibility. Based on their on-chain activities and community participation, the platform will determine which level of eligibility users qualify for and assign them the highest eligible level. Interested participants can also join Huddle01’s Discord to engage in flash tasks to upgrade to early levels.
During the whitelist sale, users can purchase node keys from their assigned layer; however, being whitelisted does not guarantee a purchase as sales will follow a first-come, first-served basis.

About Huddle01:
Huddle01 is a decentralized real-time communication (dRTC) network for audio and video streaming – the DePIN of RTC – with over 7 million minutes of meetings recorded so far. The dRTC network eliminates the reliance on centralized servers for global real-time communication.
By democratizing access to top-tier bandwidth in the digital space, Huddle01 allows people to access high-quality connectivity without relying on local physical infrastructure. To date, the network has raised $6 million and has received support from renowned angels such as Balaji Srinivasa and Stani Kulechov, as well as leading venture capital funds like Hivemind, Protocol Labs, Supercrypt, and Consensys.
Huddle01 enables the construction of high-quality audio/video applications in minutes. Leveraging its SDK suite, multiple web3 applications have integrated the composable Huddle01 SDK as their video communication layer. The infrastructure (developer SDK) has been used by 100 projects including Lens Protocol, Solana, and CyberConnect. Soon, Huddle01 will bring 1.5 million active users onto its dRTC network through upcoming integrations.
