Originally known as Worldwide Webb, Soulbound is a web3 MMORPG game that blends rogue-lite combat with MMO elements to create a unique gaming experience.
Soulbound recently clinched the “Co-Op Adventure Game” category at Discord App Pitches 2024, highlighting its potential for integrating MMO gameplay with Discord’s embedded application SDK to foster player interaction and collaboration within the platform.
Backed by Pantera Capital, Soulbound emphasizes browser-based gaming and a dynamic, player-driven world. It aims to deliver a distinctive multiplayer gaming experience by combining traditional gaming elements with innovative concepts.

What Can We Expect from Soulbound?
According to an announcement on X, this version marks the team’s “largest patch to date,” introducing the following new features:
Foraging & Alchemy: Players can now explore the Playa area under the guidance of new NPC Pip&Squeak to discover rare plants. The update introduces the Foraging skill, allowing players to gather resources using the newly added chemistry table and craft potent consumables.
Automated Market Maker (AMM): A new trading system, the Automated Market Maker, facilitates instant resource trading within liquidity pools. Players can efficiently manage their resources by depositing liquidity and setting limit orders to earn LP tokens.
Raids and Group Challenges: Players can now engage in challenging group activities, including Abyss Raids, Boss Rush Challenges, and Mining Sprint Challenges. The first Abyss Raid is scheduled for June 27, encouraging players to consult the event calendar for daily schedules.
Cosmetic Enhancements: A new cosmetic head slot enables players to personalize their avatars without affecting game statistics. Additionally, a new vendor, Finnley, offers exclusive cosmetics obtained through high-risk activities and AMM trading.
Furthermore, several improvements have been released, including an event calendar for in-game events, enhanced tutorials for smoother onboarding, a block list feature for better social management, improved social interactions and vendor management UI, and enriched audio experiences to enhance the overall gaming atmosphere.
This update also addresses various bugs and enhances game stability concerning dungeons, inventory management, and connectivity issues.
